WHY AM I ECO-FRIENDLY?
Each of us can improve the environment by making a change.
For years I pushed a noisy, petrol-powered lawnmower around my property, damaging my hearing and breathing in its fumes.
The sticky smog then wafted towards my neighbour's living room. Luckily for them, their doors and windows were already shut because my mower was so noisy.
Then I'd trim my lawn's edges with an especially loud and annoying petrol-powered weed eater. That made a heck of a ruckus and probably produced even more smoke than the mower.

Now I'm trying to be kind - to myself, my neighbours, the generations to follow and to nature. My battery-powered mowers, weed eaters, blowers and hedge trimmers emit no fumes and are quieter than many petrol-equivalents.
The electricity I use to charge the batteries is 100% clean (generated by wind, hydro or solar) and my high-quality batteries are durable and recyclable.
I'm only one person, and so my contribution to improving the environment is small, but if each of the 7.8 billion people on Earth made a small change the result would be gigantic. Change starts with each of us. Every person should make a change today.
In the words of environmental activist Jane Goodall: "You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference..."
