For many years I pushed a petrol-powered lawnmower around my property, breathing in its exhaust fumes without thinking.
The sticky cloud then clawed its way over the fence and oozed towards my neighbour's living room.
Luckily for them, their doors and windows were already shut because my mower was noisy.
Then I'd trim the edges with an equally annoying petrol-powered weed eater.
Particles from the toxic smog I produced are probably still being inhaled by some poor sod.
Now I’m trying to be kind - to myself, my neighbours, (hopefully) the generations to follow and to nature.
My battery-powered mowers, weed eaters, blowers and hedge trimmers emit no fumes, (none!), and make less noise than many petrol-equivalents.
The electricity I use to charge the batteries is 100% clean (generated by wind, hydro or solar) and my high-quality batteries are durable and recyclable.
